Omicron Variant: Due to Rising of Virus Many getting tested for COVID-19
Many people are concerned about the omicron version as COVID-19 cases rise across the United States. As a result, some people are being tested for COVID-19 now, just in time for the holidays.
Frank Cossentino and his family are hoping to have a safe holiday season. “I simply want to make sure everyone is safe for the holidays,” Cossentino remarked.
That’s why he and his kid visited the Cape Coral Curative COVID-19 testing site on Sunday. All of this was done to give them peace of mind in the run-up to their Christmas party.
“Family is the most important thing, so if I can simply stay healthy, at least I know that when my children and family are around me, they have nothing to worry about,” Cossentino said.
Before attending an indoor party with relatives and friends who do not live with you, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends getting tested.
You won’t have to ask, “Can I receive a test?” if you go to Curative’s website. “What time works for me?” is the true question. In the days preceding up to Christmas Eve, there are hundreds of appointment spaces available at multiple sites.
Calvert Sutherland is a Cape Coral resident. Sutherland remarked, “I got it done like two hours ago, and it’s already on my phone.”
COVID-19 testing is also available in Walgreens and CVS pharmacies.
At-home testing kits are another option, although they may become harder to come by as demand grows. Stores, on the other hand, sell at-home testing kits. Simply check your local shop to see if the test you’re searching for is available.
These families are doing their part to ensure that everyone has a happy and safe holiday.
“When you’re celebrating the holidays, you have to remember to think about other people, not just yourself,” Sutherland explained.
“All we’re trying to do is encourage everyone to be negative so we can all be together,” Cossentino added.
