League of Legends Lunar Revel 2022 event: Skins, missions, rewards

League of Legends Lunar Revel 2022 event: Skins, missions, rewards

The annual Lunar Revel event in League of Legends will return in 2022 to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Here’s everything you need to know about Season 12’s first big event, which includes a dozen new skins as well as all the objectives and other incentives on offer.

Lunar Revel is the first event on League of Legends’ annual calendar every year, and this year is no exception. On Summoner’s Rift (and beyond in Runeterra), Chinese New Year celebrations will begin in 2022, and Riot will go all out for the Year of the Tiger.

Here’s all you need to know about the League of Legends Lunar Revel 2022 event, which includes 12 new skins (including two Prestige skins) as well as a slew of tasks and awards.

League of Legends Lunar Revel 2022 skins: Firecracker & Porcelain

In 2022, League of Legends Lunar Revel skins will be divided into two lines: the traditional bright-and-bold Firecracker set, and the more relaxing whites-and-blues of the new Porcelain skinline.

Firecracker skins are being given to Diana, Sett, Teemo, Tristana, and Xin Zhao, who will be wearing bright reds and yellows while spreading good luck for the new year. They all have their own individual style, from Sett’s colossal dragon suit to Diana and Tristana’s beautiful gowns.

The Porcelain skin collection, which includes Amumu, Ezreal, Kindred, Lissandra, and Lux, is the polar opposite. The branded “Protectors” are there to make sure no one spoils the festivities with the cool whites and blues of a classic Chinese tea set.

Lux will get a Prestige skin during the event, as well Xayah, who will get a gold-and-white makeover for her Bright Phoenix cosmetic from 2022.

The skins’ exact price has yet to be revealed.

League of Legends Lunar Revel 2022 missions

The missions for the Lunar Revel 2022 event in League of Legends have yet to be published. However, it’s unlikely that Riot will abandon the new methodology for completing tasks, earning points, and earning rewards that they introduced in the Debonair 2021 event.

Certain objectives will be locked behind the Premium Pass, which players will have to pay for if they want one of the two Prestige skins on offer, but there will also be a number of free missions if you don’t want to put too much money into the event.

League of Legends Lunar Revel 2022 rewards

The League of Legends Lunar Revel 2022 event awards, like the tasks, have yet to be disclosed. There are, however, some expectations for rewards: Prestige Points, chromas for the new skins, summoner icons, and other items should be available.

There’s also something in it for TFT players: Little Legends eggs are frequently available for purchase in event reward stores.

Once the Lunar Revel event is live, we’ll confirm the full list of goodies.

League of Legends Lunar Revel 2022 start date

The League of Legends Lunar Revel 2022 event has yet to be announced, but given that it’s now on the PBE, players shouldn’t have to wait for much longer than the LoL patch 12.2 on January 20 to start making progress.

Get ready for the first major event of League of Legends Season 12 to be a massive one, so prepare to grind.
