Aside from the usual suspects, make sure your carrier supports Voicemail and that it’s configured correctly on your device. After getting a quick overview of the potential causes, it’s time to get down to business with some practical advice.
Check Out the Availability
For some, it may appear to be out of context. But, hey, having the necessary clarity about whether or not a specific feature is available never hurts.
It’s worth noting that Voicemail, Visual Voicemail, and Voicemail transcription aren’t available on all carriers. Also, keep in mind that not all of these features are available everywhere. So, first and foremost, make sure you have access to Voicemail.
Check that Voicemail is Set Up Perfectly on Your iPhone
It’s worth noting that when you first start Voicemail, you’ll be asked to create a password and record your voicemail greeting. Yes, it’s simple, but it’s the one thing that needs to be done first. As a result, double-check that you’ve set it up correctly.
- Create a voicemail password in the Phone app on your iOS device by going to Voicemail -> Set Up Now.
