Through these feature you can unlock you iPhone while wearning mask and its not by using Face ID but you can take advantage of your Apple Watch

Here is the every details to unlock your iPhone with a face mask on.

Requirements.

  • iPhone X or a later model.
  • iOS 14.5 or a later version, too.
  • Apple Watch Series 3 or later with watchOS 7.4 or later.

To Unlock Your iPhone While Wearing a Mask you need iPhone and Apple Watch to be paired to each other, and make sure that both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections turned on.

Add a passcode to your Apple Watch:

  1. First of all, go to Settings in your Apple Watch.
  2. Then to find Passcode just Scroll down and then tap on Passcode to Turn Passcode On.
  3. After that Enter your new passcode.
  4. Re-enter the same passcode.
  5. That’s what you need to unlock your Apple Watch after every time you remove it from your wrist.

Turn on Wrist Detection:

  1. First of all, go to Settings in your Apple Watch.
  2. Then to find Passcode just Scroll down and then tap on Passcode to Turn Passcode On.
  3. To turn on the Wrist Detection Just scroll down again.
  4. Now you’ll need to wear a face mask to test it
