How to join a FaceTime call on Windows 10

FaceTime is nearly tough to use on Windows 10. Users on a Windows 10 system can now join a FaceTime call as simply as they can join a Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams conversation, thanks to Apple’s most recent macOS update, macOS Monterey.

How to Join FaceTime call on Windows 10

On a Windows 10 computer, you won’t be able to make a FaceTime call. It can only be launched on a Mac or an iPhone. FaceTime on macOS 12 and iOS 15 can create a link to a call, similar to Google Meet and Zoom. Anyone can join the call by sharing this link, and they can do so using a recent browser.

How to Create FaceTime call

On both macOS and iOS, a link to a FaceTime call can be made.

On the iOS platform;

1. Open the FaceTime app on your phone.
2. To make a link, use the Create Link button.
3. Copy the link and send it to anyone you’d like to join the call.
4. To begin the call, open the FaceTime app and tap the link.

On a Mac platform;

1. On your Mac, launch FaceTime.
2. To make a link, click the Create link button.
3. Send the link to everyone you’d want to join the call.
4. To begin the call, click the link.

You’ll need a link to the FaceTime session you’d like to join.

1. To make a FaceTime call, click the link.
2. Click Continue after entering your name.
3. Your browser will ask for permission to use your computer’s microphone and camera.
4. Join by pressing the Join button.

5. You must be granted access to the call by the person who initiated it.

A FaceTime call link is active until it is erased, and it must be deleted on the device on which it was formed. Select the Delete option from the I button next to a link. Anyone having the link can ask to join the call as long as it is active.
