How to get Druddigon in the Pokémon Go event

Druddigon is a dragon-type Pokémon that was released as the final Gen 5 Pokémon in Pokémon Go.

It was released as part of the Dragonspiral Descent event in December 2021, and a number of other dragon-type Pokémon arrived in the wild to commemorate the occasion.

You only need to catch one Druddigon because they don’t evolve. Unless, of course, you want to catch Druddigon in his shining form.

Before the Dragonspiral Descent event finishes, find out how to get Druddigon in Pokémon Go.

How to get Druddigon in Pokémon Go event

In December 2021, Druddigon, a cave Pokémon from Generation 5, made his first appearance in Pokémon Go.
Druddigon can be found utilizing the following techniques throughout the Dragonspiral Descent event:

  • The Dragonspiral Descent Collection Challenge has been completed.
  • In raids with three stars.
  • completing the field research mission – Win 3 raids

You should be able to find a Druddigon during the latest Pokémon Go event using the methods listed above, even if it takes some time.

It’s up to you to decide which technique is best for you, but we recommend completing the Collection Challenge to ensure a Druddigon encounter. It’s a bit of a time commitment for one Pokémon, but spinning many PokéStops will save you time from having to seek down the correct field research work, and it’s ideal for gamers who don’t like raiding.

If you wish to obtain Druddigon in a three-star raid, keep in mind that you must first win the raid, so you’ll need some powerful trainers on your side, and it will flee if you run out of Premier Balls. You’ll have to fight Druddigon all over again as a result of this!

If you prefer field research assignments, bear in mind that the tasks are given by each PokéStop change on a daily basis, so it may take some time to discover the correct PokéStop. Check to see if any Pokémon Go groups exist in your region, as one of the members may already know which PokéStop you need to visit.

When the Dragonspiral Descent event concludes on Sunday, December 12th at 8 pm, all of these methods will be inaccessible (local time). We don’t sure how often Druddigon will spawn once this event finishes, or whether it will appear in the wild at all, so collecting this Pokémon before it does is strongly recommended.
